\nFront End Engineering Design (FEED)<\/strong> for the LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis has been completed. The FEED has been undertaken by the company Wood Group Kenny Ireland LTD<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

FEED phase of the project was 50% financed by the European Union utilizing the funding tool Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and targeted to the definition of all technical parameters related to the components of the project e.g. the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), the subsea permanent installations as well as the subsea and the onshore natural gas transmission pipeline.<\/p>\n

The total duration of the FEED was six (6) months. During that period marine and terrestrial geophysical studies were also performed at the installation site of the project.<\/p>\n

The results of the FEED will be used for the detail design and construction phase of the project planned to launch within 2018.<\/p>\n
