Gastrade supports events that bring the community together and highlight Alexandroupolis’ vibrant summer spirit
Every summer, Alexandroupolis takes on a unique rhythm. Through initiatives that highlight the city’s cultural vibrancy, sporting spirit and tourism appeal, residents and visitors of all ages have the opportunity to come together, share experiences and enjoy moments that enhance the city’s dynamism.
As part of this collective effort, Gastrade once again supports three distinctive events that have become an integral part of Alexandroupolis’ summer identity.
From 5 to 12 July, Gastrade supported the Alexandroupolis Maritime Week, one of the city’s most vibrant and well-established events, with a strong cultural footprint. Every year, the event brings together local stakeholders and citizens, contributes to strengthening local economic activity and promotes Alexandroupolis both nationally and internationally.
On 6 August, Gastrade was also present at the “White Night Alexandroupolis” City Festival, a well-established annual event that, for the 13th consecutive year, transformed the city centre into a vibrant celebration of music, culture and commercial activity. Organised by the Alexandroupolis Trade Association, the event gives fresh momentum to the local market and connects residents, businesses and visitors in a unique city-wide experience.
Finally, on 12 and 13 September, Gastrade will support the 3rd AXD Sprint Triathlon, a sporting event that brings together athletes, children and families, encouraging participation while promoting values such as dedication, cooperation and fair play. Taking place along the city’s seafront, the event highlights Alexandroupolis as a destination for sports and active lifestyles.
Although each event has its own distinct character, together they help create a more vibrant, open and creative city, strengthening community involvement and people’s sense of connection with their hometown.
