The Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System (INGS) is included in the 2017-2022 National Natural Gas Market Roadmap (GG 59/Β/18.01.2018), where the project’s importance for the energy security of Greece and Southeastern Europe is confirmed.
The INGS Alexandroupolis project plays an important role in the national energy planning, promotes the European policy for the diversification of supply sources and contributes decisively to the development of a natural gas hub in Greece and the Balkans.
