Gastrade at Posidonia 2026

With strong interest from representatives of the Greek government, European institutions, and the business community, Gastrade concluded its participation in Posidonia 2026, the largest international shipping exhibition held in Greece.

The company’s presence came at a time when energy infrastructure is playing an increasingly critical role in enhancing market interconnectivity and strengthening Europe’s energy security.

Throughout the exhibition, Gastrade’s booth welcomed high-level representatives from Greece’s political and institutional leadership, including European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Alternate Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Konstantinos Kyranakis, Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Kostas Katsafados, and Director General of New Democracy Ioannis Smyrlis. The visitors were informed about the company’s activities, with particular emphasis on the operation of Alexandroupolis LNG Terminal, as well as the ongoing development of the Thrace LNG Terminal project.

The Gastrade booth also brought together representatives of the shipping and energy sectors, business associations and industry stakeholders from Greece and abroad, highlighting the growing interest in energy infrastructure across Southeast Europe.

Gastrade has participated in Posidonia since 2018, maintaining a consistent presence at an exhibition that serves as a key meeting point for the international shipping and energy communities.
